ADHD Summer Camp Experiences???

My son is 15 years old and I have always wondered about summer camps for him. I know that the specialized camps can be very expensive. I would be looking for a camp that might focus on social issues. Making and keeping friends, social awareness. Does anyone have any experience good or bad?

Summer Camps

I know a child who has significant social problems and who has attended Summit Camp in Pennsylvania for several summers. It has been a wonderful experience for her and definitely boosted her social skills and self confidence (and also helped with a number of other problems she has). I would highly recommend this program. (Also, staff regularly communicate with parents on many aspects of how your child is doing at the camp while they are away)

Summer Camp

My son is almost 9, and I am wondering about camp as well. I've seen several that sound great, but I'm not sure about him going away to camp for the first time for 2 weeks. Does anyone know of any 1 week ADD camps? I am in the Atlanta area, and would love to find one close by.
