Mundane Tasks

It would be great if y'all would share the types of mundane tasks that give you difficulty at work and tips for getting them done.

By mundane, I guess I mean boring, menial, perfunctory, routine, redundant or repetitive (even if it's the entire day at work!). Stuff like expense reports, punching the time card in, responding to monthly requests, etc.

I get by with a little help from ...

I hate to file and my work (like many) has LOTS of it. My grandneice used to take care of it for me when she would spend the school holidays with me instead of staying home with Grandpa. She has grown up on me and doesn't come over anymore. I got lucky this year when a student in local alternative school starting coming to the library after school. He has about 2 1/2 hours to stay at the library between the time school is out and his mom gets off work. He files receipts for me and other little things. I pay him a little cash. It works for us but I know it isn't a answer for a lot of people.
