8 year old daughter just diagnosed ADHD and starting Straterra
My 8 year old daughter was just diagnosed with ADHD and just started taking Straterra this week. Does anyone have a child who has been taking Straterra that can give some feedback on what to expect with this medication? Thank you. |

She's been taking Staterra for just over a week now. The first few days were a battle to get her take the pill but she's doing much better now. I have not seen any visible change in her but understand it can take up to 6 weeks to make an assessment. If anyone has been through this with their child, I'd appreciate knowing how it worked. Thanks. |

My 8 year old is on Strattera
My son has been on Strattera since 4/12/08. I am seeing some improvements. On his contract at school he used to get a 6 or 7 and now he is getting 9 and 10's. The teacher used to always write on it that he was chatty or didn't raise his hand, etc. But now she writes good notes. I still have some issues like his tantrums but we are getting somewhere I think. |
