Anyone know a good book to help kids understand figures of speech? My son doesn't get those double meanings he's a black and white kid - for instance, I once said of a neighbor we have that is quite a pip "Oh that should start a war" and my son thought I meant a real war with weapons. So I have been trying to explain these things as they come up. That's when I thought of a book, and I noticed there are several on Amazon, just wondering if anyone found one they really like.
