Hi everyone, I’ve been reading thru the forums and I have a good resource to recomend for parents. I have a 7 yo girl with AD/HD and it’s always a struggle to get her to do what she needs to like brush her teeth, put her toys away and all the usual stuff. I got this CD a few months ago called Taming the Family Circus (http://www.addmanagement.com/coaching/familycircus.html). It came with a little book too. They give some good ideas for structure, discipline, rewards. I started using some of the ideas with my daughter and things are getting better. For instance we started using a rewards chart so when she does her chores she earns points towards things she wants like dvds and toys. That’s working pretty well. Just wanted to share!
