Great Family Organizer
I just found a great web site at http://cozi.com. You get a big appointment calendar, easy to use, shopping lists you can customize (I have one for groceries, one for electronics, one for gifts, one for stationery supplies, and I use one for my to do list), recipes (a link to Betty Crocker), and a family journal which you can also share with friends via e-mail or Facebook. You color code each family member's activities for the calendar. And the web site will send you reminders to your cell phone or e-mail. Also, you can synch it with Outlook, so you can keep track of work-related projects, meeting, etc. And you can synch with Google Desktop. Best of all, it is FREE! I'm single, but it works for me, too. I like having everything in one place, instead of scattered all over the web. |

A reminder to not waste time
I have so many tasks to done and instead of attending to it I go into unnecessary activities and waste my time . sometimes just daydreaming or imagining about some irrelevant issues. I want to have an alarm which can snap me out of wasteful activities and actually make me focus on my to-do tasks. Something like -----Is this really how I want to be spending my time? Any ideas of how I can use my laptop or my blackberry or maybe a device that i can wear and at the appropriate time snaps me out of my thoghts without making it obvious to people around? Can I use |

Recurring tasks with hourly reminders.
I keep forgetting to have water and sometimes its just one glass of water a day. The same goes for my medicines. Most softwares and PDA's have daily reminders. Is there a way to add a task only once and have it reminding you every hour and every day instead of adding 12 reminders for 12 glasses of water in a day? Please help! |
