Possible vandalism

My almost 11-year-old son with ADD may have vandalized a public building. Holes were poked in drywall with scissors. He denies it, he's never done anything like this before; it's hard to tell what the truth is. Honestly, it's just as likely another child did it. If my son did it, I'm sure it was just pure impulsivity and stupidity, not malice. I'm struggling with how to handle it. I want to support him, but I also want to help him understand the seriousness of it and how to THINK before he acts. I've been trying to figure it out, but I've never dealt with this before. He could possibly face the police, though I don't think there's any real evidence so far. I feel like we're at a crossroads and I've got to make sure he makes the right turn. Can anyone help?

Vandalism

It sounds like he could use a med that is for strictly Impulsivity. There is meds out there that can help this that he can take along with his ADD/ADHD med.
