does anyone know if Concerta (54mg) has to be taken every day? Or can it be taken only a couple of days during the week. I know it is suggested to take every morning, but I want to know if it HAS to be taken every day.
I know that my little boy doctor told us he has to take one a day. the reason i think is because you want get the full effect. if in doubt call your doctor. my little boy is on concerta.
Generally Concerta as for the other ADHD meds need to be taken every day to get the full effect. The medicine has to reach a therapeutic level in your system to do this. If not you will generally have ups and downs when taken irregularly. Thanks
