Homeschooled for kindergarten
I homeschooled my adhd daughter for kindergarten. I made an agreement with her father, my ex husband, that I would only do it for one year. I assumed that her high grades and success would convince him that I should do it longer. There was a teacher we met with every few months, who checked her work and graded her. This teacher said that Bekah was doing so well that she was doing grade 1 work.
I really enjoyed homeschooling her. We had a big group of my friends who were homeschooling so we went on a lot of field trips together.
The thing is, I also love having my daughter in school. I don't have to deal with her hyperness all by myself. The other good thing is that we have to be in a routine. I have always hated routines. However, now that I am in one I function better (I have adhd too). I go to the gym regularly and it is nice to have the freedom to do that and not worry about having to get a babysitter.
I do think that homeschooling is good if you can handle it. Just my thoughts.
