Refrigerating Daytrana

I read in the prescribing literature that you are not supposed to refrigerate it. It didn't say why, just not to do it. Do you know if that may reduce its effectivness?

Refrigerate Daytrana?

We just started my daughter on Daytrana - today is day three on 1/2 (cut) of a 10mg patch. The doc told us to cut in half for the first 4 days. Also, I read to refrigerate the patches. So, the entire box in in the refrigerator. Now, I'm reading that it should NOT be in the refrigerator, or it may not work. Now, I wonder if the whole box is ruined? We have not seen much of an improvement yet. I am hoping that the whole 10mg patch will make an improvement. She is very hyper! Any feedback on your refrigeration experience? I'm going to remove this evening. Wonder if I should keep this box?
