Homework is the great equalizer. It is equally deplored by both kids and parents — in no small part because of the nightly battles it incites. Students who forget to write down assignments or struggle to remember the day’s lessons fight tooth and nail to sit down and concentrate on homework after a full day of executive function challenges. And tired parents grow weary of nagging and checking in while also making dinner and managing after-school activities.

While your child’s attention and focus problems may make homework more challenging, they do not make it impossible. In fact, there are some very straightforward steps parents can take to end the frustration, tears, and fights over homework time.

In this webinar, parents will learn:

> Why homework is particularly difficult for students with ADHD

> How to send the right message to your child about homework

> How parents can use daily check-ins to keep on top of assignments

> How to establish daily homework routines

> How to use homework incentives effectively

> How to supervise without micromanaging a child

> How to enlist others to relieve homework burdens

> How to work with the school to solve homework challenges
