More ADHD Diagnoses, Less Treatment?

More children are being diagnosed at an increasingly younger age, but the CDC wonders if they are receiving all the services they need to manage the condition.

A new study published in the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (JAACAP) found that an estimated 2 million more children in the U.S. have been diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) between 2003-04 and 2011-12.
