Announcing ADDitude's New Free ADHD Support Groups and First Virtual Support Group Meeting

ADDitude has a new online community just for families with ADHD -- ADDConnect! Members can join online support groups and participate in ADDitude's first virtual support group meeting.

Join ADDitude's ADHD Mom Blogger, Kay Marner, and ADDitude's ADHD Dad Blogger, Frank South, as they host ADDitude's "Virtual Support Group Meeting for Parents of Children With ADD/ADHD" Wednesday, June 29, 2011, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. EST. The Web chat is free and open to all who register with the site. See full event details below:

To participate, you'll need to:

  1. R.S.V.P. Leave a comment on this post letting us know you'll be there. If you can't make it, be sure you've subscribed to our e-newsletter so you can be notified of future Web chats -- coming soon!
  2. Join ADDitude's new online community, ADDConnect. Signing up is free and easy (have a username, valid e-mail address, and password handy). If you're already a member, skip this step and continue on to item number three.
  3. Join the Parents of ADHD Children Group (where the Web chat will take place). If you're already a member, skip this step and continue on to item number four.
  4. Think of discussion topics and questions. Feel free to post them to the Parents of ADHD Children Group ahead of time for Kay Marner, Frank South, and other attendees to review.
  5. Sign in to ADDConnect at 1 p.m. EST on Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Head to the Parents of ADHD Children Group and start posting questions and responding to other posts. From time to time, you may need to refresh your browser on the Parents of ADHD Children Group to see the latest activity.
