Dial Down Your Teen's Temper

When my teenager doesn't take her ADHD medication, she becomes contentious and we argue a lot. How should I handle this?

With patience! Remember that the teen years are emotional because of hormonal changes. ADHD medications increase emotional volatility in some people, especially when the med is wearing off. I Want to Like Myself More

I am an adult with ADHD, and I get along well with people. What people don't know is that I have a low opinion of myself, because I've made many mistakes in my life. How can I feel better about myself?
