Fine-tune your medication schedule. Keep track of when it's most important to keep your AD/HD symptoms in check. When are you most likely to be driving? How late do you study? These are times when your medication should be in effect.
Be aware of the dangers of alcohol and drugs. AD/HD medications can affect the metabolism of alcohol, which can result in dangerously high blood-alcohol levels. Drugs such as marijuana may render your medications less effective. Mixing cocaine and stimulant medications can be fatal.
