Keeping Busy

Scheduling activities during the summer keeps kids physically and mentally engaged.

We manage the energy levels of our six-year-old, Ellie, through daily physical activity — swimming, biking, trips to the park, and so on. And since she is more impulsive when she’s bored, we keep her mentally engaged in reading and crafts.
