Growing Up, Speaking Out

One mother takes pride in her daughter's advocacy in ADD and bullying.

My daughter, Rachel, has struggled with ADD since she was a toddler. In 2003, at age 11, she testified at an Ohio legislative forum about her academic troubles. Today, she is a member of the Adult and Youth Speaker’s Bureau, and visits public schools to talk about ADD and bullying. I’m so proud that she has found her voice and is helping others who struggle with ADD.
