Ideas for easy, high-calorie snacks for kids.

 
  1. String cheese, crackers, and sliced apple

  2. Creamy or cheesy soups with croutons or breadsticks

  3. Canned fruit in syrup with pudding

  4. Plain cereals moistened with flavored milks or milk substitutes

  5. Celery sticks stuffed with cream cheese or peanut butter

  6. Small banana, split lengthwise, spread with peanut butter

  7. Flavored cream cheese on crackers with dried fruit on the side

  8. Ready-made guacamole, salsa, chips, and cheese cubes (add chopped fresh tomatoes & peppers to bottled salsa for extra vitamins and fiber)
