Managing Behavior Without Treatment

By concentrating on one target behavior each week, this family helps its daughter manage her ADD.

With a therapist's close guidance, we worked on teaching our daughter one target behavior each week — keeping her hands to herself at school, brushing her teeth every night without prompting. We've been doing this for two years now — and have been able to eliminate all medications.
