Help for Parents with Learning Disabilities, ADHD

A new government plan aims to help parents with learning disabilities strengthen their parenting skills.

by ADDitude Editors

The British government has just introduced Value People Now, a three-year plan targeted at improving health, housing, employment, and social services for adults with learning disabilities like dyslexia and attention deficit disorder. By supporting parents with learning disabilities, the plan aims to keep more children at home in the care of their parents.

The plan also aims to help young adults with learning disabilities move into adulthood with the skills and opportunities they need to succeed in life.
