Three separate pharmaceutical companies are currently working on a drug to treat memory problems.
The “memory pill,” initially developed to treat Alzheimer’s patients, could have a significant effect on one of the
major symptoms of attention deficit disorder (ADHD) – poor memory. An over-the-counter version of the medication may be available in the next few years.
The memory pill is targeted to older adults. The medication is not recommended for young adults without ADHD because it could raise blood pressure.
