Two Kinds of Hyperactivity?

Updating the current sub-types of AD/HD could improve educational tools for students with the disorder.

The current division of AD/HD into three sub-types - hyperactive, inattentive, and combined - might be due for an update. A team of British psychologists says its work indicates that there are two kinds of hyperactivity - verbal and physical. Understanding this difference could improve educational tools for students with AD/HD.
