In an attempt to explain the rise in diagnosis rates of children with attention deficit disorder (ADHD), autism, and other health problems, a large-scale study has been launched to discover the affect of the environment of children’s health issues. Parents of ADHD children may find this study especially revealing. The research, part of the National Children’s Health Study, will follow thousands of children from the womb to age 20 to see if environmental factors like pollution and pesticides may cause symptoms of ADHD and other childhood illnesses. Read more about this new study. |
