Harold S. Koplewicz, M.D., Receives Prestigious Child Psychiatry AwardHarold S. Koplewicz, one of ADDitude’s Scientific Advisors was awarded the Irving Phillips Award for Prevention - the highest honor given by The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) – for his dedication and outstanding achievements in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Koplewicz founded the NYU Child Study Center in 1997, to improve child mental health. He is Senior Vice President and Vice Dean for External Affairs of the NYU Medical Center, Chair of the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Director of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Bellevue Hospitals Center, spearheading multiple aspects of prevention, research and treatment.
