Shari Gent, M.S., NCED, Education Specialist, serves with the Diagnostic Center, Northern California, California Department of Education. Shari conducts trainings in behavioral and educational strategies for students with ADHD in 351 school districts throughout Northern California. In addition, as part of an interdisciplinary team, she provides psycho-educational assessments for a wide variety of students. Shari is the parent of a young adult with ADHD, serves on the editorial advisory board of Attention Magazine, is a CHADD chapter coordinator, and a "Parent to Parent" teacher. Shari was chosen as Educator of the Year by CHADD.
